Big Cash Out: Titan Poker’s big casino bonus

Wednesday, August 25th, 2010

Titan Poker is one of the best online poker rooms in the business because of their customer service, quality software that offers protection and fun games and more. The casino bonuses are basically the icing on the cake, though it’s pretty good icing.

At Titan Poker, players normally earn points for all money wagered. Those points accumulate and when enough are accrued they can be redeemed for cash. Soon, though, Titan will launch the Big Cash Out promotion. During that promotion, which lasts throughout the month of September, all points earned by playing cash games and poker tournaments can be cashed out more generously. As soon as you reach 1,000 points during the month, you are able to redeem those points for cash. In normal circumstances, you need at least 2,000 points before you can cash out.

The amount of money you get for your points depends on your amount of points. Instead of having a set amount, such as you get a dollar for every 100 points, it varies depending on your point total, with the number of points needed for cash going down as your point total goes up.

For example, if you have 1,000 points you can redeem it for $5, a value of $1 for every 200 points. However, if you rack up 10,000 points you can redeem that for $80, a value of $1 for every 125 points. If you accumulate 80,000 points, you can trade that for $850, which is 94 points for every dollar. If you’re such a good poker player that you accumulate 300,000 points, Titan Casino will give you $4,250 in cash. That’s a value of only 71 points for every dollar.

A full listing of the cash rewards for your loyalty points can be found on the promotions page. To take advantage of the Big Cash Out casino bonus, visit Titan Poker and play some poker during the month of September.

Titan Poker Sending People to World Series of Poker

Monday, May 24th, 2010

The World Series of Poker is the biggest tournament in the “sport” of poker. It has the World Series title for a reason. This is the big one where the best players compete for the biggest money. It’s televised internationally and I saw it in the movie Rounders before I knew anything about professional poker players or big poker tournaments. Playing in the World Series of Poker is a big deal.

Most poker players, however, never get the opportunity to sit with the big boys and play in that tournament. For some, it’s a dream that is never realized. Titan Poker is offering ordinary players a chance at glory, a chance to earn a seat at the biggest table in the business. That’s right. Titan Poker is sending players to the World Series of Poker.

Right now Titan Poker is holding the World Challenge 2010 tournament. In this tournament, players have the chance to prove that they are the best poker player in their country and then represent their nation in the World Series of Poker. At the end of the poker tournament, the five best players from around the world will each win a $13,000 package to the 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event, held in Las Vegas.

The World Challenge 2010 poker tournament has two rounds of qualifying tournaments. There are multiple dates for both rounds. There are 12 different countries and regions represented on the leader board. The top players in the first round advance to the second round. After the second round, the top 200 players advance to the final 8 tournaments, where players compete for the top 5 spots, where they win a trip to Vegas to play at the World Series of Poker.

Players have up until June 20 to participate in the qualifying rounds and take a shot at the grand prize. See the promotions page for details. To take part in the tournament and give yourself a chance at a seat at the table during the World Series of Poker Main Event, visit Titan Poker today.

Titan Poker Sending Players to Ireland

Monday, February 1st, 2010

Online poker is fun and all. The only problem is that you miss out on the camaraderie of playing at a table full of people. You also miss out on the ability to bluff, read someone’s poker face, and talk trash. Also, quite obviously, you miss out on the opportunity to travel.

Well, for some lucky players, Titan Poker is going to help you experience all of that. The online poker room is holding a tournament that will send lucky winners to a live poker tournament in Dublin, Ireland. Which tournament? It’s called the Irish Open. Maybe you’ve heard of it.

The Titan Poker Irish Open takes place in March and until then Titan Poker is holding satellite tournaments 24-hours per day. As you advance through the satellite tournaments, you get closer to the grand prize, which is not only getting a trip to Dublin on the casino, but you also get a free EUR 300 buy-in, EUR 3200 gambling money, free accommodations for five nights in the swanky Burlington Hotel and some other goodies as well, including EUR 800 of spending money.

If that sounds good to you, there’s never been a better time to grab a Guinness, put on a Damien Rice album (or U2 if you would rather), and get your poker on! You’re probably thinking, Well, sure, they pay for everything if you win, but the tournament is probably expensive to join. If that’s what you were thinking, then you thought wrong. If you are new to the site, simply enter the Titan Poker Bonus Code TP600 during your registration. Doing so will give you a $600 signup bonus as well as a free $25 to play with in the poker satellite.

So basically, what it comes down to is this: If you like poker, there is no extra risk to this tournament beyond playing poker using real money any other time. And if you win, you have a shot at an all-expenses paid trip to Dublin to take part in the Irish Open. And if you win and don’t want to go, let me know. I will gladly go on your behalf!

Titan Poker sending winners to Irish Open

Monday, November 23rd, 2009

I’ve always wanted to visit Ireland, even though I have no Irish heritage… at least as far as I know. I don’t really know much about my heritage. Whenever I ask my dad what I am, he says, “American.” I do like many things about Irish culture, though. For example, I enjoy getting drunk in taverns. I have to admit that I hate Notre Dame. That shouldn’t be a problem, though.

If you have ever wanted to visit Ireland and are a good poker player, Titan Poker has the perfect tournament for you. The online poker room is giving a package to the winner that includes a buy-in to the 2010 Irish Open in Dublin, five nights of accommodations at the Burlington Hotel, and $800 for traveling expenses.  The Irish Open has many benefits. Not only is it located in the beautiful, lush country of Ireland, but it also has a prize of $1 million. Not too shabby.

Dublin is not only beautiful, but it was also voted friendliest city in Europe in 2007 and 2009. I don’t know what happened in 2008. Maybe the soccer team sucked that year and the town was in a bad mood. There are two ways that Titan Poker players can get a chance at that prize package. The first way is to buy their way in to the Super Satellites, which are held on Sunday nights. The other way is by participating in the qualifiers that take place every day. Top players in the qualifiers advance to the satellites for free. Players can join the qualifiers for as low as $2.

The Irish Open begins on March 31 and runs through April 6. To have a chance at competing in Dublin, log in to Titan Poker and start playing today.

Titan Poker Hosting ECOOP in November

Wednesday, October 14th, 2009

pokerIf you’re like me, you never remember dates and tend to make plans at the last minute because if you make plans earlier, you will just forget anyway. That could be why I’m not married (women expect you to remember their anniversary). It could also explain why I always buy cards from the “belated birthday” section at Hallmark. So if you are like me – and I hope you’re not because one of me is already too much for most people – then you might want to mark this down on your calendar… Okay, first you might want to buy a calendar. Then you should mark this down:

On November 23, Titan Poker is holding their fifth European Championship of Online Poker (ECOOP V). The tournament will have a guaranteed prize pool of $4,550,000. In case all of those zeros confused you, the number is $4.55 million. Not too shabby. The online poker tournament will be held over 14 days and begins on November 23.

You, the lonely procrastinator who angered his girlfriend by not remembering when you met, are probably thinking, It’s October. Why in the world is he telling me about this now? That’s because I want to help you with your problem. Plan in advance. It’s better for everyone. Also, you can’t wait until November 23 for this tournament. To win a seat at the digital table you need to play in the qualifying satellite tournaments that are going on every day.

There are a number of different online poker varieties available in the satellite tournaments, including Texas Hold’em, Pot Limit Omaha, and 7 Card Stud, among others. Over the 14 days of the Championship tournament, $4.55 million in prizes will be distributed among the top players. On December 6 is the Main Event, where the remaining players compete for a $1.5 prize pool.

To participate in the online poker satellite tournaments, visit Titan Poker today. If not today, please write it down so you don’t forget. Write it on a Post-it, a napkin or something. If you don’t and you forget, you can’t blame me for not trying to help.

Titan Poker Qualifier Freeroll Tomorrow

Wednesday, October 7th, 2009

dancingTitan Poker is getting some pretty good press right now. Not only are they getting some good name recognition thanks to Joanna Krupa, but they’re offering good promotions as well. Krupa is best known for her modeling career, which includes posing for Playboy, and is also pretty well known for appearing in various reality TV shows, such as Dancing with the Stars, in which she is currently competing, and that one show where a bunch of celebrities and athletes competed in athletic competitions. Does anyone remember that show? Krupa is also somewhat known for being a spokesmodel for Titan Poker, a former televised poker tournament host, and a decent poker player herself. But mostly it’s the modeling thing. In any case, with Playboy lobbying their readers, few of whom probably watch Dancing with the Stars, to vote for her, Krupa has a chance to win the competition. If so, it’s only a matter of time before someone says, “Hey, isn’t she the spokesmodel for Titan Poker?”

On the tournament front, since this isn’t Modeling Review or Reality Television Review, Titan Poker is hosting the $1,500 Cash & Monthly Million Qualifier Freeroll tomorrow, October 8. The tournament is open to any Titan Poker members who deposit at least $20 and have a minimum of 10 Titan Poker Points. The winner of the qualifier is automatically entered in the Monthly Million Tournament, which takes place on October 11. For that winner, the entry fee is waived, which is $500 of savings. Aside from that, $1,000 will be distributed among the top finishers in the qualifier.

So, whether you enjoy watching hot, poker-playing models dancing or playing poker online for a shot at a big prize pool, right now is a good time to pay attention to Titan Poker. To participate in the freeroll qualifier, visit Titan Poker.

New Online Poker Titan Turbo Promotion

Friday, October 2nd, 2009

pokerchipsTitan Poker continues its onslaught of tremendous online poker promotions this October with Titan Turbo. The mammoth online poker site, is giving away $50,000 in cash prizes and tournament entries to poker newbies, vets and regulars through a series of “races.”

Kicking off October 5, starts the first of Titan Turbos weekly one-day Tournament Player races. Each race goes towards ranking players according to their online poker tournament participation and drops $1,000 to the weekly winner. Titan Turbo will dole out seats to the top 100 players from each of the five races at Titan Poker’s ECPokertour Malta Freeroll on October 31 where the 3 best players will win a prize of $5,000 including a buy-in to the ECPokertour Malta event. Not to shabby for an online poker tournament, right? By the way, the EXPokertour Malta event will be held in the fabullous Casino di Venezia in Malta in November. I don’t even know what Malta looks like, but it sounds exclusive and expensive to go there, doesn’t it? (Ok, just looked it up on Wikipedia, it’s gorgeous there.)

If Texas Hold’em is more your bag then hop on board the Titan Turbo races which also start October 5. Races last four days each and ranks players according to the Titan Points players earn at the tables with $5,000 in prizes. Like the the player races above, the top 100 will qualify to advance onto bigger and better things. Landing yourself in the top 100 will gain entry into the final, one-day Titan Turbo race also being held on October 31, set to drop $10,000 in cash to the best ranked players.

If you’re new to Titan online poker (or have yet to play there) and haven’t scored yourself VIP status, then it’s about time you did. Titan poker is doubling the first place prize if it’s won by any Bronze VIP player at the Titan Turbo Game Races. This goes for the main event as well, so if you think you’ve got the chops and haven’t checked out online poker at Titan, this could be a pretty sweet time to go card shark and win yourself some hefty dough.

Titan Poker Bonus Promotions

Friday, September 25th, 2009

This time of year is traditionally slow in the online casino business, so casinos are offering a lot of promotions. Land-based casinos right now are having a lot of high-profile spokerhows to bring in the crowds. Online casinos can’t get Crosby, Stills and Nash to play at their casino, so they go with a lot of game-based promotions. Titan Poker has a couple good ones going on right now.

Today, September 25, online poker site Titan Poker is hosting the $20,000 Double Stack Freezeout at 3:45 EST. The entry fee is a little high at $300, but the high prices often bring better competition if you can afford to join the table. The online tournament is No Limit Texas Hold ‘em.

I know what you’re thinking: I don’t have the money to enter that tournament. I was a dumb bully in school who spent all of my time giving people noogies instead of studying and as a result, I’m a 45-year-old man stocking shelves at Save-a-Lot. Don’t worry. For those who don’t want to pay the $300, you can play your way in by winning satellites that have entry fees of only $64.

But what if you’re not a member of Titan Poker? Well, now is a great time to join, because you’ll get free stuff just for that. For new members, once you make your first deposit you will receive five free tokens to use in any of the weekly New Depositor Freeroll Satellites. There is no entry fee for those satellites, which are held every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday. Players in those satellites compete for a spot in the monthly $20,000 New Depositors Freeroll, which has no buy-in and has a guaranteed prize pool of, you guessed it, $20,000.

So if you want to enter the Double Stack Freezeout or are not a member and want to join for a shot at the New Depositor Freeroll, visit Titan Poker today.

Titan Online Poker Tournament ECOOP V Coming Soon

Tuesday, September 22nd, 2009

You have to respect Titan Poker for going all out on their online promotions and their latest, European Championship of Online Poker V (ECOOP V) is no exception. The tournament will feature $4.55 million in prizes divided between 14 separate events. There are flavors for every online poker aficionado to delight in including Pot-Limit Omaha, Seven-Card Stud, Turbo, Six-Max and Pot-Limit Omaha Hi-Lo.

Players from around the world have come to Europe’s largest online poker room to scrap for the big ECOOP prize money since it began in December of 2007. Since the ECOOP began, the prizes have significantly increased, beginning at a whopping $2.5 million in prizes and now up to a cool $4.55 million, it’s unbelievable to think of what Titan could do to up the prize pool further.

Satellites begin on September 21st when online poker players can compete to win seats at ECOOP V. The Titan Poker online lobby promises to be fully updated with tournament types, times and buy-ins.

Day 1 of the tournament gives online No Limit Hold’em players the spotlight offering a $200+$15 buy-in with $250,000 in guaranteed prizes. Online Stud players can hop on the bandwagon for Limit 7 Card Stud with buy-ins starting at $250+$18. After a couple more days of Hold’em, days five and six showcase Omaha with a Pot Limit Hi/Lo tournament that drops $100,000 in prize money for $100+$9 buy-in.

The crown jewel of the tournament is the $1,500+$80 main event taking place on December 6, featuring $1.5 million in guaranteed prizes. With events running from November 23 through December 6, there is plenty of time to get caught up in the high stakes online poker tournament action.

High Roller Monday at Titan Poker

Monday, September 14th, 2009

I don’t know about you, but I really don’t bother gambling when there isn’t an obscene amount of money at stake. I think it’s because I’m so filthy rich that wagering small amounts is beneath me. It’s the same reason I drive a Lexus, even though it’s a boring car, and bathe in Perrier. The finer things in life are more expensive and who doesn’t want to enjoy the finer things in life? Some people like to play poker tournaments with $50 buy-ins, but 50 bucks isn’t an entry fee. That’s what I tip that nice man who shines my shoes.

Titan Poker understands people like me, which is why today they are hosting the $40,000 High Roller Monday poker tournament. The tournament has a $500 entry fee, which I consider the minimum for weeding out the riffraff. After all, if some guy with a Philosophy degree working at the Gap can sit at your poker table with you, it’s not really a classy tournament, is it?

High Roller Monday is a 10-hand No Limit Texas Hold’em tournament and the high entry fee should keep the number of players low, meaning you have better odds of winning and the tournament won’t last as long. It also means you can talk about your summer home in Connecticut without worrying about offending some college student who smells like humus.

If you are a high roller and want to play some good online poker, visit Titan Poker today. If you think it’s unfair that poor people can’t participate in the tournament, take off your Che Guevara beret and T-shirt and get a job, hippie.
