15 new casino games at Titan Casino

Friday, August 6th, 2010

Members of Titan Casino have a whole new batch of casino games to play. It’s kind of like Christmas, when you unwrap a bunch of goodies and have whole new things to try out. Some you will like and some you won’t, but you’re excited to have something new after playing with the same old things for a while.

This month, the online casino launched 15 new casino games designed by Playtech. The new games come in several different forms. There are new online slots, online roulette games, arcade games and more. The most popular games are bound to be the new online slots, some of which have popular and interesting character tie-ins.

One such new game is the Pink Panther slot. That new online slot is based on the old children’s cartoon that was based on the Peter Sellers movie. It features the cartoon Pink Panther and Inspector Clouseau and as an added treat, the well-known theme music can be heard as you play the game.

The Rocky slot is another new game that should be popular. Based on the classic Sylvester Stallone boxing drama, this online slot features Rocky, Apollo Creed and more. For comic book fans of equally violent characters, another new game is the Punisher: War Zone slot. For the uninitiated, Punisher is a comic book about a vigilante who basically goes around killing all of the bad guys instead of capturing them and handing them over to police, a la Spider-Man, Batman and the like. The Punisher also spawned two terrible movies, one starring Dolph Lundgren (who, coincidentally, was also in one of the Rocky movies), and the other with John Travolta and some guy named Thomas Jane.

Casino Tropez weekend slot, roulette tournaments

Friday, July 16th, 2010

There are a lot of great ways to enjoy the weekend. It can be reading a book, going to the beach, hitting the clubs, mosh-pitting at a concert, taking in a game, watching a movie, playing in online casino tournaments and more. What you want to do with your weekend depends on your taste. There’s really no way Casino Tropez can help you if you’re in the mood for the beach or a baseball game this weekend. They can, however, help with the casino tournaments.

This weekend, Casino Tropez is holding two Elite Challenge tournaments. Those tournaments began yesterday, July 15, and run until July 18. One tournament is an online roulette tournament. In that tournament, you can wager on any online roulette game offered at the casino. In addition to any winnings that you may get from the games themselves, the top 38 wagerers during that time will share a $4,000 prize pool. The top player will win $1,000, with the prizes going down in value from there.

The other Elite Challenge tournament is for slots players. That tournament works the same as the one for roulette. Players can wager on any online slot in the casino and the top wagerers will win prizes from a pool of $4,000. In addition, if you win any money at the slots, you get to keep that money as you normally would.

While you’re playing in the Elite Challenge tournaments, you might want to take advantage of the current deposit bonus promotion. Right now, Casino Tropez is offering a 30% match bonus on all deposits. That bonus promotion runs all weekend, from July 15-18.

To play in the Elite Challenge roulette and slot tournaments, visit Casino Tropez.

SEGA to Enter Online Gambling Market?

Monday, September 14th, 2009

There is a rumor circulating through the online gambling community that SEGA, the once-powerful video game manufacturer, could join the market. SEGA hasn’t been relevant since the release of Sony’s PlayStation in 1994, when it became clear that there were better consoles out there and SEGA couldn’t overcome the fact that Dreamcast and Saturn sucked. Since 2001, the company gave up entirely on producing consoles and focused on designing software for other consoles.

In a struggling global economy, companies have to look for revenue anywhere they can get it, and making the jump from traditional gaming software to online gambling software seems like a logical choice for a company no one under twenty has heard of. Some people believe that SEGA will develop games and license them to online casinos, while others believe that SEGA will launch their own online casino that exclusively carries games with SEGA themes. Is anyone else excited about the possibility of Sonic the Hedgehog Roulette? How about Sonic the Hedgehog 2 slots? Or maybe even Sonic & Knuckles video poker? Okay, honestly I can’t remember any SEGA game other than those in the Sonic series. I’m sure they made other games, and I vaguely remember playing them, but then again, if the games SEGA made were any good they would probably still get played by somebody.

In any case, the move can only help SEGA. Nintendo came back from obscurity with the release of the Wii, which is actually a pretty lame system after the novelty of waving your arms around wears off. For SEGA, the comeback can involve online gambling. It’s a controversial market to be sure, with people’s worries about gambling addiction, but in truth there are probably as many people addicted to World of Warcraft as to online poker and let’s face it, playing poker is a lot cooler than commanding a fairy to destroy someone’s village or whatever the hell people do on WoW. Also, I’ve witnessed several people getting tennis elbow from the Wii, so don’t tell me that system isn’t dangerous. Tipper Gore told everyone who would listen that video games are dangerous. Then again, her husband thinks light bulbs are dangerous, so the Gores are a little on the nutty side. So, if you’re feeling dangerous, soon you may be able to head over to SEGA Casino and play some sort of game with a blue, fast hedgehog. Sounds like fun to me.

Online Casino Players in Another Boring Reality Show

Tuesday, September 8th, 2009

I love online casinos and I love television. I also love puppies and milkshakes, but I don’t want a puppy milkshake and I sure as hell don’t want to watch people playing online casinos on television. Online gambling is fun because I am doing it. Over the Labor Day weekend I was at a barbeque where a game of horseshoes was set up. When I was playing, it was a lot of fun, when we let others play, I tried to watch, but got so bored that I fell asleep in the yard (from scotch). I feel the same way about casino games. Fun to play, dull to watch. However, some dumb dumbs in the online casino industry are getting together with more dumb dumbs in the television industry to create a new reality television show based around the world of online casinos.

The new online poker reality show will feature several top online casino gamers who will live in Las Vegas who will play for cash and other prizes, get tips from poker pros and of course (vomit) play for charity. It’s not the I have a problem with charity, it’s just that it’s so obvious that they play for charity to make gambling “moral and acceptable” to a wider audience. Which it already is because it is a game that people play for fun. Cameras will be set up in every room of the house, broadcasting everything they do 24-hours a day for the first week of November.

The players on Rounders House will keep video blogs throughout the week to further update viewers on what’s going on. Some would say that this is a good thing for online casinos, that further exposure will lead to widespread acceptance and understanding. I disagree. Online poker and online casinos are already growing in popularity and having Big Brother meets lonely online gambler will contribute just another boring reality show about boring people to the graveyard of other poker shows that have already (dis)graced television screens.

The show will be even worse considering that it will be broadcast 24 hours a day and feature “everything” they do, every minute of every day. So lucky viewers will be ACTUALLY get to see REAL online casino players REALLY staring at their computer screen and REALLY winning money! Snore. The reason any reality TV is interesting in the very least is because 1. It’s not real, the situations are set up and scripted and 2. Producers aggressively edit those programs to make even the slightest dramatic moment infinitely more dramatic than it actually is.

Online casino proponents continue to push the world of online gambling (poker in particular) in front of television cameras like an overzealous stage mom, regardless of interest. This new show goes a long way to prove that all creative heads in Hollywood have officially died off and the only people that remain are the empty-headed children, cousins, second cousins and nephews of producers and studio executives that nepotism favors. Just like that “Face the Ace” show, this one will tank. I can smell it from here.

All Slots Casino Goes Mobile

Friday, August 28th, 2009

Are you one of those people who are always on the go and don’t have time to sit down at a computer for online gambling? Good news! Now you can visit an online casino by using your cell phone and bet to your heart’s content wherever you are.

Spin3, a software designer that creates games for mobile phones, has partnered with Microgaming, one of the leading designers of online gambling software. As a result of the deal, Spin3 will provide a mobile version of All Slots Casino via the iPhone.

This is great news for anyone who has ever been stranded in an elevator and thought, If only I could play some roulette in here this wouldn’t be so bad. Stuck in a board meeting? Just take our your phone and play some online blackjack. Try not to do a victory dance when you beat the dealer, though. The other people in the meeting will stare. If you want, you can even go on Twitter at the same time. You can play online blackjack and then tweet “playing online blackjack in a board meeting” so everyone will know. Just don’t do that if someone else in the meeting is subscribed to your tweets.

In an industry that, like most industries that don’t have a dollar menu, is struggling, online casinos are looking for new ways to increase revenue. Going mobile increases access to All Slots Casino, which should pay big dividends. Do not be surprised if many other online casinos jump on this trend. There will, of course, be people who think it’s distasteful for the iPhone to allow gambling, but it shouldn’t hurt business any. Apple was able to survive the backlash from their baby-shaking application and injuring babies, at least after they have been born, is frowned upon by probably everyone on the planet. Online gambling isn’t nearly as controversial.

If you don’t have an iPhone (and not all of us are cool enough to), don’t worry. You can still gamble on All Slots Casino via your computer.

Online Casino August Tournaments

Friday, August 14th, 2009

Mummy’s Gold online casino has been running competitive tournaments all month long, but with some of their tournaments over, players who have not joined in may feel like they have lost out. Don’t worry. There is still plenty of exciting tournament action to be had.

The Multi-Play Poker contest will run from August 17 to August 23. The contest features the Party Poker muti-hand video poker games designed by Microgaming. The tournament has a total prize pool of $1,000 and can be joined in 10 Play or 100 Play formats.

For those who think poker is too complicated, having to remember all of those suits and different terms like “full house” and “flush,” don’t worry. Mummy’s Gold online casino also offers tournaments in games that require little to no skill. Yes, folks, I’m talking about roulette and slots, games where a chimpanzee and a human would have an equal opportunity of winning. Now, that I’m on the subject, if a chimp hits the jackpot, does it have to file a tax return?…

Roulette Rally is the popular Mummy’s Gold online roulette tournament that began August 3 and runs until August 23. The roulette tournament features four Microgaming titles: American Roulette, European Roulette, French Roulette and Roulette Royale, which is a progressive jackpot game. French Roulette for a brief time was known as Freedom Roulette, but the name was changed back to French Roulette after the election of Nicolas Sarkozy.

For people, or chimpanzees, who feel that picking a number and color is too complicated, there is an even easier way to gamble available. Mummy’s Gold online casino is also offering the Bonus Slots Bonanza, which runs from August 24 to August 30. The online slot tournament features several of Microgaming’s popular slots, including Chocolate Factory, which is sure to satisfy your inner Oompa-Loompa, and Porky Payout, which, to my knowledge, has nothing to do with the Obama administration’s “stimulus” bill.

All in all, there are plenty of options out there for fans of online casino tournaments, whether you’re a human, chimpanzee, or Vermicious Knid. Oh, and I don’t mean to denigrate anyone who enjoys playing online slots or roulette by implying that they would have no strategic advantage over a chimp. I enjoy both games myself. Also, chimps are pretty smart animals.

UK Lottery to Offer Online Casino Gambling

Thursday, July 16th, 2009

The United Kingdom’s most popular independent lottery company, Lottery.co.uk, has come to a revelation that thus far as eluded the United States. They have realized there isn’t a whole lot of difference between casino gambling and buying a lottery ticket. In fact, your odds are better in the casino.

Lottery.co.uk has announced that it will carry online games designed by Cryptologic. The new games will include traditional casino games, like online roulette, blackjack and slots. The lottery company came to the conclusion that as long as players were going to be risking their own money for the possible reward of a big payoff, why not give them a chance to have fun while doing it? In addition to being more fun, the casino games would provide instant feedback. Instead of players having to wait to find out if they have the wining numbers, they instantly learn if they’ve won or lost money.

The online games are said to have huge jackpots, over £1,000,000, which should attract a lot of players, both online casino veterans and those new to the experience. Lottery.co.uk allows visitors to try sample games for free so they know what to expect before paying. Lottery.co.uk tries to keep up with new trends in the business. Recently they added an application that allows users to play and track the EuroMillions lottery on their iPhone. By incorporating new technology, whether it’s phone applications or casino games with exciting graphic displays, Lottery.co.uk is doing their best to make playing the lottery a fun experience. Whether or not they will achieve that remains to be seen, but it does seem that their website will be lots more fun than using scratch-off tickets.
