I agree with what you’re saying about the poor odds of online gambling being regulated in the US within the near future. I think that maybe the gambling industry hypes regulation up too much because they see it as a way to make more money from US players. A wise approach is to simply trust in US Congress, be patient, and don’t offer foolish opinions on reasons why online gambling regulation should work.
