Utah Transit Fines Casino Gamers

A truly alarming development has occurred in the state of Utah recently, a development that will strike fear and anger into the heart of any avid gamer who loves to spend time and money at online casinos. It seems that the Utah Transit Authority has gone so far as to punish and fine any transit passengers who have the gall to engage in gaming on the free wireless Internet service.

This means that they are not allowed to visit online casino sites using the free Internet access that they transit system is providing. In addition to casinos being off-limits, other objectionable sites include pornographic sites and any other questionably amoral sites that do not confer with the rather conservative viewpoints of the society there.

This seems a little harsh to punish fans of online casinos the same way that you would punish people who enjoy pornography. The public transportation division is in possession of the software that is capable of filtering out online casino sites, porn sites and other additional objectionable material. Police have now been given the power in the state of Utah to give out fines to any people who are unlucky enough to be caught accessing one of these types of internet sites.

Officials from the Utah Transit Authority are confident that the new technology they are able to take advantage of will improve the safety of the public in general. Unfortunately, it seems that this extra protection goes directly against preserving the rights and freedoms of individual adults who should be able to access any site they wish to.
