While the people who comprise the United States take an immense amount of pride in being in the forefront of progressive action, tolerance and fields such as science and technology, it I painfully clear that in recent months and years, there is one particular area where the United States has definitely dropped the ball and made the wrong decisions. The United States has essentially turned its back on online casino gambling. Some nations have jumped on the incredibly lucrative bandwagon of online casinos, such as Antigua and Barbuda, to help advance their country’s economy by allowing an industry with so much potential to thrive.

Countries who are succeeding in this capacity have done so by putting in place some very strict regulations on the industry to keep tabs on every legal aspect while at the same time giving people the freedom to go ahead and decide for themselves what they wish to do with their money and their time. Currently the United States is involved in negotiations with Antigua and Barbuda in regard to a WTO breach that has ended up costing the small island nation several millions of dollars.

America has basically stopped all companies that are licensed in Antigua from being able to operate within the United States. This in turn has cut out a huge portion of profits for these companies and the nation of Antigua and Barbuda itself. While the United Kingdom has helped to aid Antigua and Barbuda in building up its supply of regulated online casinos, the United States has turn around and done just the opposite.
