Online casinos have recently come up in the local crime radar of a town called Sabah in Malaysian Borneo. A detailed and thorough investigation has already begun to determine who the top bosses are of the largest illegal online casino gambling business in the area. The chief of police who is in charge of the casino investigation said that it is particularly tricky and complex to figure out who is actually behind the wrongdoings since the main bosses in charge tend to hide behind many other layers of middlemen rendering them all but invisible. This means that even though they are the people most responsible for the illegal activities involving online casinos, it is going to be all but impossible to trace the crime back to them to work towards actually prosecuting them.

The level of success they are able to achieve in this casino and gambling case will greatly depend on how well organized and thorough they authorities are in their investigation. Their ultimate goal, of course is to take down the main players and make them pay for their crimes. In leading up to this investigation there has been a definite increase in the number of casino raids that the police have conducted recently.

Acting on a tip-off they raided a place of business in Inanam and took away 12 different computers that had been used for illegal activities. Altogether the local police have confiscated several hundred computers through these raids and in addition they have been able to make some arrests of people who have been running the scams.
