Nevada Casinos Experience Revenue Gains
Tuesday, October 11th, 2011Although many business industries have been suffering extremely low levels of revenue over the course of the last several years due to the bleak and seemingly endless economic recession, things have been slowly beginning to pick back up in the state of Nevada. Obviously, it is apparent to everyone concerned with the gambling industry that the market of online casinos is surging ahead at a rapid and steady pace in terms of boosting their level of revenue.
But the land-based casino organizations have not been blessed with the same amount of luck as the online casino operations. Nonetheless, the Nevada casinos were happy to report that they achieved a 3.7 percent gain in revenue during the month of July. That is an impressive feat as they won $860 million. When you compare those figures to how they fared just a short year ago, those numbers become all the more impressive and encouraging.
Now, it is important to look ahead to predict just how well the casinos in Nevada will be able to perform as we move deeper and deeper into the remaining months of 2011. 2012 will be here before you know it and online casinos are giving land-based casino operations a run for the money at every turn. In this increasingly competitive business, these sorts of successes are not something that one can take for granted. But things are looking up. Returns are stabilizing to a certain degree and that has given everyone a reason to breathe a huge sigh of relief.
