It has come as quite a shock to many people within the inside of the industry devoted to online casinos but it seems that there’ve been a number of discussions about a possible merger between two of the most successful and biggest Internet gambling operations in the entire world. It seems that the top people from party gaming and win, pulled online casino powerhouses in their own right, I’ve been involved in talks about merging to create one giant Internet casino, sports betting, and poker operation. This could result in a huge $4 billion entity that would shake up the online gambling market in every possible way. Rival in the casino operators are taken aback by the news of this particular potential occurrence and there are obviously very threatened by what this could mean to their own revenue.

All that the people from win have been willing to admit at this point is that the talks are ongoing. Nothing has been set in stone and everything is still at the very preliminary stages of development. Their number of important considerations that need to be carefully investigated and researched for both companies before they can move ahead with this idea. For fans of online casinos, it is not yet quite clear what this could mean for them.

They are researching the competition and trying to determine if this would end up being a profitable endeavor or not. What this could mean for the Internet gambling industry is that the other, party gaming and win would be able to control no less than 15% of the entire online casino market within Europe. That would be quite a powerful position to hold in one that might cast doubt smaller operations in the business as time goes on.
