Apparently the Dow Jones Sustainability Indexes have ranked Ladbrokes, a force to be reckoned with among internet casino operations, very high on their list based on a detailed and thorough analysis of environmental, social and economic performances. Ladbrokes is currently ranked in the number one position in regard to sustainability.

If this is a little too abstract for you to take in, let me put it another way: Out of all the different competing online casinos out there on the international market, only Ladbrokes and one other rival gambling company were even made it to the list for this particular index. That is truly phenomenal news for a variety of reasons. This sends a strong message about the quality and integrity of the online casino industry that many anti-gambling opponents prefer to dismiss with one little wave of their hand.

But this begs the greater public to reexamine what internet casino companies are capable of. This definitely sets the bar a little bit higher for competing companies. The index has listed some 317 different companies from all over the world. The investigation to determine this index looks at risk management, corporate governance, green issues, branding, labor statuses and supply chains. Ladbrokes managed to perform remarkably well in a variety of different categories in order to gain mention in this index.
