It is one thing to make a big plunge into a swimming pool, but it is an entirely more involved scenario when a land-based casino company decided to make the move into the world of online casinos. That is precisely the direction that the wildly successful land-based casino giant Harrah’s Entertainment has decided to do. The company has managed to carve out an impressive niche in Las Vegas, but that is no longer enough for the ambitious casino operation. They are looking to expand into the next frontier of the gambling industry and that move inevitably led them into the online casino realm.

Now things are getting very exciting for this soon-to-be big time mover and shaker among online casinos because they have chosen to team up with the 888 gambling group. Harrah’s may not have much experience in regard to how everything works with internet casinos, but with 888 at their side, it is almost a given that the company will find nothing but sure success in the road ahead. They even went so far as to hire a seasoned industry operative (an exPartyPoker CEO) to help run their interactive entertainment efforts.

That addition happened earlier this past summer. From then until now, the murmurings from the Harrah’s people have been relatively minor and rare, but things are really starting to turn the corner and heat up. 888 is going to be right there working alongside the people from Harrah’s as they begin to establish a foothold and develop projects such as Caesars Palace and the World Series of Poker. These are two major brands that are going to do remarkably well online.
