In the days following July 1st, fans of online casinos within the nation of China will have a mighty difficult time accessing their favorite gaming sites if they are playing from a new computer.

The government in China, in an attempt to place even greater control on the extent to which online casino sites can be visited by its citizenry, has raised the stakes for trying to block casino gambling. Every new computer that is sold in stores after the first of July will come with specialized software that has been carefully designed to block access to specific websites.

Among those websites that will be blocked are online casinos. This comes as a tremendous blow to the casino gaming community of China that obviously already had a lot going against it. The government of China has set it up so that computer manufacturers have to perform their business developments in a way that is completely aligned with the values and rules established by the government. So far this news has not been widely shared with the public however.

Officials from the Chinese government have indicated that they took this step as a way to protect their youth from being exposed to potentially dangerous or harmful web content like pornography. Once again, online casino gaming sites have been linked with porn as dangerous and explicit web content that will cause horrible things to happen in society. And no one yet knows what sort of political content or propaganda will take the place of where these casino gaming sites and other blocked sites would have been.
