There is perhaps no greater foe of the industry devoted to online casinos within the United States than Representative Spencer Bachus. Among Congressman, his efforts to being about pain and misery to online casino operators are extensive and tireless. Now Bachus has come out to say that he sees the tide changing in ways that he not altogether happy with. He admits that the fight against the regulation, legalization and licensing of casino gaming sites may be a losing battle.

One substantial factor in that particular scenario that has held a lot of weight for many people is the ineffectiveness of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act. He says the little tricks that the government has tried to pull on innocent people through the guise of the UIGEA are not going to cut it for much longer.

He says that recent attempts to thwart the rights of law-abiding citizens in the name of the UIGEA have been met with staunch and fervent criticism. The fans of online casinos everywhere are hip to the treachery and the wool that is being pulled over their eyes and they will not take it any longer. Now everyone is alert and ready to wage a battle.

Politicians have been doing their best to manipulate the facts and figures to paint a horrible and dangerous picture of the internet casino business within the United States, but more and more, the truth is coming out and the average people are realizing that people like Bachus are spouting outright lies. And now that Representative Barney Frank has brought his latest bill proposal to Congress and gathered support from both sides of the aisle, the game has changed considerably.
